[ PMT#43: odkid ]

odkid - PMT#43 Shards from The Potions I Drank

odkid was freakbient, dark ambient, lo-fi-sound & experimental.

About the record:

«Here's some of the music I've listened to and still do. I somehow came to think of songs as kind of magic potions. Like in many fantasy books the magic potions make people feel and act differently, there's something similar to that how listening to good records enhance and influence people in a life changing way. At least it works that way for me. Great music leaves a trace to the mind and affect the songs you make yourself, conciously or unconsciously. Here are some pieces from my potions. Outside the other artists' songs, I included some stuff of my own. There are two new unreleased things: a song co-produced with my good friend Lauri and another old song I reconstructed especially for this project. Also, there is an excellent remix by a finnish dark ambient dude Austurkarl that appeared for some time in mikseri.net (a great finnish free mp3-site)».
